The Centre for Excellence program was launched to share the “Miracle Foundation Method” with as many children’s homes in Maharashtra as possible. The goal was to help these homes improve the quality of child care, development, and management, ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Need of the Project

Many children living in child care institutions face challenges due to a lack of proper resources and guidance. These children deserve a better present and a brighter future. To achieve this, there was a strong need to support children’s homes in improving their standards of care and operations, so that every child can receive love, learning, and life opportunities they deserve.

About the Project

The Centre for Excellence was designed as a capacity-building initiative that trained and supported children’s homes to become part of Miracle Foundation India’s network of associates. The program focused on identifying potential organisations in the central region of Maharashtra and helping them adopt the Miracle Method. The training and mentoring sessions were conducted at Swapnabhoomi (Dreamland), where participating organisations received hands-on guidance and support.

Our Aim

  • To spread the Miracle Foundation Method to children’s homes across Maharashtra.
  • To help these institutions strengthen their care systems and management practices.

Our Approach

Trained master trainers visited each participating organisation to mentor, guide, and monitor the progress. Every step of the program was evaluated using clear standards and indicators. The project helped these homes build strong systems of child care, promote accountability, and develop a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Through the Centre for Excellence, we worked to create a network of empowered children’s homes that could serve as models of quality care, ensuring that every child grows with dignity, safety, and hope for a better future.
