Swapnabhoomi - Dreamland

Description: Swapnabhoomi is a home for children who are homeless, destitute, or orphans and need care and protection. Through this project, we have touched the lives of over 400+ children who have lived with us and have grown under our care and values. Currently, we are nurturing over 70 children at Kerwadi. To fulfil this noble task, we need the support of ideas, monetary assistance, and volunteers. Your every word and deed will count in giving these children a better future.

Kishori Vikas - Empowerment of Adolescent Girls
Beneficiaries: Girls
Description: In a patriarchal society like India, women are subjected to discrimination the moment they are born. And it is even worse in the rural sectors of India. After analysing the current situation, we decided to organize groups of adolescent girls in each village in our area and hold talks, get together, and train where they could open up and give input for their empowerment.

Bal Panchayats (Children's Council)
Beneficiaries: Boys
Description: We aim to organize around 500 children to participate in this council. The idea of Bal Panchayat is for, Children should be motivated to think objectively and critically at an early age. They should be capable of thinking about their own personality development while in school – and see big dreams. For this purpose, children's council groups organize discussions among the children and with the adults too. A Series of such consultations are arranged for them.

Description: We aim to Build a Knowledge Society in rural areas by developing curiosity and a habit of problem-solving among children. The Creative interactive exhibition helps fire one's imagination with educational products, which leads them to learn something more than just Science.

Description: Starting back in 1974, as the brainchild of Suryakant Kulkarni, the main aim of FIRODIYA KARANDAK has been to give a platform to college students for them to showcase their artistic musings for the last 46 years.

Shree Sant Dnyaneshwar Vidyalaya

Description: In 2006, we set up a primary school on the SEDT campus at Kerwadi with the aim of providing quality education and facilitating all around development of local children.

Affordable farming
Beneficiaries: Farmers
Description: n the last three years, with support from IEEE Pune Section, we have partnered with around 1000 farmers from 6 villages to implement the concept of "Affordable farming" by motivating farmers to adopt better farming practices with a view to enhancing their income levels.

Women Empowerment
Beneficiaries: Women
Description: Women hold a share of 50% of this demographic. Besides their reservations in local politics, women have always stayed behind in the family and society, which shows a systematic bias against women about access to primary resources such as education, health, and nutrition. Our policy for this is "development through women." One of the main goals of SEDT's actions has been to organize, empower and make women self-reliant.
