A primary school has been started in SEDT Campus at Kerwadi in 2006 with the aim of providing quality education and facilitating all-round development of local children. The school has grown up to Class VII.Presently, there are 321 students and 8 teachers in the school. A special retired education officer is appointed to monitor and supervise the school.
Several innovative activities have been integrated in the routine like newspaper reading, thought for the day, tree plantation, computer education, etc. have been incorporated in the curriculum. To stress experience based learning, children are taken regularly for picnics and exposure tours to post office, flour mill, yarn mill, banks, police station etc. are arranged frequently. Extra-curricular talent is encouraged through competitions for essay-writing, elocution, painting, etc.
